AI isn’t going anywhere and will continue to change the way in which we operate and live in this world. For young people it is a big part of the present and will be an even bigger part of their future. Like anything it comes with challenges we have to navigate through.
Nowadays, students are growing up in an era heavily influenced by artificial intelligence, such as technologies like ChatGPT and social media algorithms. There’s a widespread acknowledgment that artificial intelligence is becoming a permanent fixture in our world. However, early indicators show that AI exhibits concerning tendencies, including biases and the propagation of inaccurate information. If left unaddressed, the unbridled advancement of AI threatens human dignity and risks perpetuating existing oppressive systems. This underscores the importance of empowering young individuals to assert their voices and exercise control in navigating the implications and applications of AI technology.
